Loving Earth Saturday at Friends House
December 2, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
A special Saturday opening of the Quaker Centre so you can see the Loving Earth textile art exhibition, browse and buy in the bookshop, and savour food and Friendship at the Seed Café there.
A Meeting for worship will also be held at 11.30 in the worship space, followed by a chance to share reflections from noon.
Book in advance for one or both of the two workshops:
Climate Fresk at 10 am (a sociable and engaging way to consolidate our understanding of the science of climate change) l and an Active Hope workshop at 2pm, based on Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone’s work using your imaginations to climate grief and fear about the environmental crisis into positive action.

Events for Quaker children and young people are also being arranged in conjunction with Meeting for Sufferings, being held at Friends House that day.
