Creativity through the arts, a Quaker Universalist Group conference at Woodbrooke 12-14 May, 2023.

QAN members will be most welcome to join our conference in person or online.

Our working title is Universalism and Creativity: how creativity expresses and enhances spirituality across the world. We will treat our theme from a universalist point of view, with input based on the principle that spiritual awareness can come from any or no religion. One speaker will give a general introduction to art and spirituality. Others will reference the visual arts in a variety of contexts, including the spirituality of colour with reference to Tibetan Buddhism; Daoism and more. One speaker will talk about poetry and spirituality across the world.

QUG hopes to have all the details about the conference on the QAN website by December. Our website qug.org.uk gives lots more information about us, and includes talks given at earlier conferences.
