Warm invitation to an online launch event: Return Rejoicing

Dear friends

Please join me at a gathering to celebrate the launch of my 30 minute audio-visual presentation, Return Rejoicing, on 10 December 2021 – Human Rights Day. Ailsa Lamont – a psychotherapist from Birmingham, UK – will host the event with me.

The audio-visual presentation, which I completed this year, reflects on part of my life in South Africa as well as my experience in Bristol and Birmingham in the UK. It is part of a series of art pieces I have done in an enquiry into being white in the world.

You will be sent the zoom link prior to the event. Ideally if we could have our cameras on so that we can see each other.

We will start with some preparation and stillness, then the screening, followed by time for reflection and responses. I’ll aim for the event to last 90 minutes.
