The Quaker Universalist Group conference at Launde Abbey offers time to reflect on how music has connected us to the soul of the universe.
We invite all to join us and share how music has affected their spiritual lives. We hope some will play their instruments, and others use recordings of particular pieces of music, and we will respond and reflect together. We will also have opportunities to sing, chant and dance together.
Christine Richards will share recorded music from the religions and faiths around her in south London. Jennifer Cavanaugh’s workshop ‘Singing from our Silence’ will link our theme to Quaker worship,
