Quaker Arts Online Meeting for Worship

THE Quaker Arts Network is planning to run a series of six Meetings for Worship, after which we shall evaluate the experiment and decide whether to continue.
The Meetings will be at lunch time on six Tuesdays in February and early March. We expect to open the Zoom meeting at 12.55 pm and begin at 1 pm. The format, which has been tested in other contexts, will be:
1 pm. Welcome and introduction by that week’s presenter. Then worship will begin, including prepared ministry from the presenter, which may involve screen sharing or audio material. This will normally consist of separate items with silence in between, during which others may minister.
Around 1.20 pm. The presenter will close the worship and invite Friends to share and discuss any responses they have had which it didn’t seem appropriate to offer as ministry.
Between 1.30 and 1.40 the meeting will come to an end.
The first session will feature poems, the next, music and the third, visual images.
