Rise in Song for climate justice: Climate choir concert

Come and enjoy an upbeat, passionate evening of songs and music from the Climate Choir Movement. A lively programme includes rousing songs Sing Truth to Power, Let Us Stand, Eradicate Ecocide, and Patti Smith’s People Have the Power. Activist singer-songwriter Kimwei will bring charismatic pizzazz along with musicians Emmy Broughton on harp and jazz fusion from band Plant with Legs.

The Climate Choir has been witnessing for climate justice with high quality performances in a variety of venues. Although this is not a Quaker event, many Quakers have been involved in Climate Choirs across the country as part of their witness.

An event held at All Saints Clifton on Friday 11th October. Doors are at 19:00 with entertainment starting at 19:30. The event finishes at 21:00. The event has been tagged in the classical, contemporary classical and jazz categories.
