Loving Earth Exhibition Loughton
October 10 @ 11:00 am - October 21 @ 9:00 pm
FreeLoving Earth Exhibition at Loughton Methodist Church
10 -21 October 2024
The Loving Earth Project celebrates some of the wonderful things threatened by growing environmental breakdown: people, places, creatures, and other things we love. The exhibition comprises fabric panels made as by communities all over the UK and abroad. Each panel is accompanied by the maker’s reflections on their work.
It is helping people to engage creatively and constructively with these issues, without being overwhelmed. It’s also a way to share positive examples of change and why people have taken action for the sake of love.
This exhibition comprises 50 out of over 500 panels made so far. Panels have been shown at the COP26 climate conference, the Houses of Parliament, and churches, libraries, museums and galleries throughout the country.
Now it is Loughton’s chance to see this great exhibition!
Come and enjoy the artwork and be inspired.
