Art the Arms Fair

Art the Arms Fair!

An Arms Fair takes place in London every 2 years, the next one takes place this September. We want to make this visible by holding an art exhibition that will gain publicity, and engage new audiences with the issue. All proceeds from works sold will raise money to help stop the arms fair.

How you can contribute:
1. Donate an art. Works either already existing, or made specially for this exhibition, can be sent to: Any pieces relating to the Arms Trade and stopping it, submitted before September, will be used to promote the event on social media.
We'd also love physical art work to be exhibited and sold in the exhibition we will run during the arms fair 11-15 September. Our postal address is: ATAF c/o Liam Geary Baulch, SET Studios, 7th Floor Capstan House, 2 Clove Crescent, London, E14 2BA. For questions or proposals for performance or installation, please e-mail

2. Turn up on the day. 9th September at 10am (close to the ExCeL, location tba) - a massive day of making will begin on the doorstep of the world's largest arms fair. Bring yourself, art materials, friends and family. Make art outside the arms fair. The creative resistance that happens that day will then also be exhibited in the exhibition. We also need volunteers to invigilate the exhibition, which will be open late every night with exciting events happening all week, let us know if you could offer to help with one or more shifts. Drop and email if you'd like to find out more. 3. Get the word out. You can also like/follow/share/retweet us on fb, instagram or twitter @ArtTheArmsFair. For more info closer to the day sign up to our newsletter here: or e-mail: Please forward this call to anyone you know who may be interested in getting involved in anyway. Many thanks, Art The Arms Fair
