QAN day at Swarthmoor
The Quaker Arts Network will hold our annual day together at Swarthmoor Meeting House, to tie in with the opening of the Seeking Routes exhibition at Swarthmoor Hall.
In the morning, as well as a short AGM (for which papers will be put on this website nearer the time), we will discuss using the arts for Quaker outreach. We hope this will include experiences of commissioning art works, organising events and publishing as well as sharing personal reflections about ‘going public’ as a Quaker and/or creative artist/writer/musician etc. Any interested Friends are invited – you don’t need to be any kind of artist!
In the afternoon, we will hold workshops on the theme of Fragile Abundance. These will be suitable for all ages and open to the public. For details of workshops see the separate event, here .
A performance event at 5.30 will complete the day. Offers of contributions to the performance event welcome (with your booking) .
