Imbolc Spirit Dolls

February 2 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Imbolc is a special time when nature starts to wake up from the wintering.
This doll making workshop is organised by Elena Krumgold who is a member of Worthing Quaker Meeting. It invites to join a creative flow and focus on a process rather than on a material result.
All materials provided, no experience needed.
It’s not the same as taking an art class, as the focus in not on learning artistic techniques, but on the inner emotional experience as we engage in creative process.
We are going to start from looking at spiritual doll making tradition and modern Spirit Dolls, then join a guided meditation, and finally engage in creative practice.
We are planning a group sharing after refreshments.
All the above are optional, there is no pressure to talk if you don’t feel like it or to join into any activity if it doesn’t feel right at a time.
We speak and create as we feel led, from a heart-felt place.
It is important people don’t judge or criticise other contributions and creations.
I invite you to join me in relaxed and mindful process of self-discovery through the creative expression – to find inspiration, to focus on our feelings, to free our imagination, to make meaning of personal experiences.
Booking is essential as we can accommodate up to 10 people only.
Contribution of £20 per person is suggested as a cover for venue, refreshments and art/craft materials.
