HOLD YOUR NERVE!

HOLD YOUR NERVE!
Virtual Retreat In Daily Life (Monday 11th April – Sunday 19th April)

I will be hosting another virtual retreat around the theme of “holding your nerve in uncertain times”, which will involve poetry that I have written on that theme over the last few years.

A retreat in daily life is a guided retreat that can be taken in the midst of your daily life (however strange that may be at the moment!) rather than requiring you to “retreat” off to a monastery or retreat center for a week. It is a chance to change pace and open up spaces in your days for deeper listening and reflection, without needing to put your whole life on hold.

Each day will involve:
– A written thought for the day (5mins)
– A morning guided meditation (30mins), that will happen by ZOOM video call at 9am GMT.
– A poetry reflection exercise. (15mins)
– An evening guided meditation (30mins), followed by an optional group sharing (60mins), that will happen by ZOOM video call at 7pm GMT.
– An optional extra reflective exercise for the day.

The cost for the retreat is £100.
For those on high income I invite a further donation of £50, to enable some places to be offered to those who could not otherwise afford the retreat.
If you cannot afford the £100 fee but would be interested in taking part, please do get in contact.

There are six places available.
If you are interested or would like to book a place, please email me at sjdonaldson@hotmail.co.uk
